MY FIRST THOUGHTS...

Now that we're heading off into the last 2 games of this regular season with the last home game at Rogers tonight against the Wild and then to the Saddledome in Calgary v. the Flames on Saturday.

Along with many other Schneider fans, I'm sure that we would like to see him make at least one more start. And in my own personal opinion I know this guy deserves it.

Taking a look at his stat's this season (and it's only his first NHL season!), they have been identical to Luongo's. Athough no one can't say that it much of a surprise, since they both have similar plays and both are training with goaltending coach, Roland Melanson. Besides, like Cory has been saying throughout this season is that he has been working hard to earn each of the starts he has got, and it shows.

MY FINAL RANT...

Finally, to finish it with a cherry on top, I can honestly say that I was peeved to hear this just moments before the game against the Oil came to an end.

With quite literally, seconds left on the clock in the 3rd period the Canucks decide to put Cory in net, instead of a sixth skater. Yes, it is an appearance, it is a good gesture and there's word buzzing around that he will get his name on the Jennings Trophy, as they will try to give him [Schneider] his 25 appearances (not starts) to qualify.

So, to conclude my rant I just want to say again... let Schneider have one more start and I hope all Canucks fans would agree with me that he is well worthy.

NOW AS WE BLAZE OUR PATH INTO THE 2011 NHL PLAYOFFS...

HISTORY WILL BE MADE.

"What if the Canucks didn’t make Cory wait for 6 years?"

GO CANUCKS GO!
